never lost in oneness
This was a drawing i made in the year of 2007. This year was a huge year for realizations for so many. A year of awakening to the oneness that we are.
I drew this at my bf's friends house. She is a teacher and let us stay in her house for a few weeks. She was very welcoming .. and always loved us being around. I felt like a kid at her house. :) She'd make us food and then we'd help clean the dishes. Her home was very big. Well, the garden: front and back yard was huge. She had horses and chickens, goats etc. Lots of room for making a garden which is wonderful.
Those summer days were fun but slowly my bf and I chose to drift from the relationship with her. Also, her husband wasn't always fond of us being there. He was a nice man but very much into his privacy.
Anyway when i see this drawing i remember sitting at the table in her living room with my bf. I remember not thinking while drawing this.
I went into a meditative state.
And when i finished i realized what it meant. It is about unity amongst diversity. Though the drawing has a Renaissance, mystical and Native American feel to it.
The right side feels very Native American and the left side feels very mystical, magical, Atlantian, reinssanceish. The coyote heads on the left remind me of native American energy as do the mountains. The sun is also represented as a huge vortex. And the unicorns are of many different 'nationalities' lol. Patterns... representing diversity.
The strange looking tree to the left represents a spirit guide.. from the higher realms.
the three unicorn represent family and the sacred trinity within all life. The three unicorn horns are all pointing to a specific location. It is said that the horn of the unicorn points towards the heavens. :)
And now the greatest thing of all... is that they are all looking into the distance.. they are waiting because they know something is coming. SOMETHING BIG! SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL!! and they are almost there! :) <3
we are almost there...
