Painting 2010
This vision took place last year while meditating. I had been continuously meditating for about an hour each day for months. I first would say a long prayer. I use the rosary to capture my mind. And allow me to move from it...
I then sit still for about 30 minutes. I place my palms facing up on my lap and try to silence my mind as much as i can.
On some occasions i have strong visions. During these visions i feel all my energy flow as if leaving my body to see a vision. Its an interesting sensation.. as if im flying out of my body. It's happened many times. It happens also at night when i get sleep paralysis or sever insomnia.
I use to dislike it but now that i understand it I don't mind it. On nights where i just can't sleep because of it.. i just drink chamomile tea... and i tell my soul.. you better not leave this body lol!! i need you! :S
Anyway as i was sitting still i saw this beautiful vision. There were many more cranes in the vision and the dark night was more of a purplish tone. It was GORGEOUS. It was a heavenly place which i will be sure to revisit sometime if I can. LOL!
Anyhow.. i turned it in for a metaphysics project.. since i was attending some courses. I began to write about it and out suddenly came all sorts of things about it that i didn't know.
There is a sun in the night... representing a type of coming together. A wholeness. Duality coming together to oneness. No more night and day. .. but night with day. And the cranes in their beautiful elegance.. white signifying purity and spirit. Oneness. There 4 elements are also in the painting. Sun (fire) water (waterfall) Earth (grass, earth, stones) Air (sky with stars).. it is a painting about wholeness oneness and heaven.
